Our winter specialty is brewed with four different malts and wort separation method. The result is an alcohol degree of 7.1 % by vol. and the Original gravity is 16.5° Plato. Ayinger Weizenbock is a top fermented and unfiltered wheat bock beer. Colour is golden with copper tones. Aroma is typically and unique for Ayinger wheat beers. You will find low bitterness and dry taste.


This beer is a relatively dark, yeast cloudy wheat beer that for its low original wort content, has an extraordinarily typical aromatic beer taste and is also rather full-bodied with the first taste. There is also an intensive top-fermented yeasty sensation in taste and smell – a real thirst-quenching alternative and a drink for calorie-conscious, alcohol-reduced enjoyment. Enthusiasts of the light Ayinger “Bräuweisse” wheat beer comment: “You think you are drinking a real wheat beer, the light Ayinger Bräuweisse has that real full wheat beer taste.”


This naturally cloudy “Frühlingsbier” is bottled unfiltered, one of the results being that the beer retains many natural, protein, hops and yeast elements. The fine, natural cloudiness and the flowery-yeast aroma allow the beer-lover to anticipate the richness of taste that this refreshing, very drinkable beer offers, a beer that is also thoroughly distinguished by a pleasantly bitter sensation. From a nutritional-physiological view it must also be emphasized that this beer makes a significant contribution to good health with its vitamin and mineral-rich yeast content. From the beginning of March, beer enthusiasts can enjoy this seasonal Ayinger beer specialty for a brief period.
